In the form of water connections , clinics, welfare assistance, infrastructure, cloths distribution for the poor, ID cards, pensions, awareness sessions and other form of social assistances.

Preschool education: Establishing or developing nursery schools in villages and urban areas by providing the most advanced toys and curricula, and training the teachers in the most up-to-date systems of teaching.

In 2004 , the shepherd association  was granted 100 acres of land approximately 80 km from Cairo, on which it is developing a complex known as the “Oasis”. The site has been developed in terms of new buildings and equipment for vocational training, accommodation facilities, electricity and water supply. The Oasis is now in use for vocational training,  conferences  and for agriculture. There are further plans to increase agriculture and to build sports and camping facilities, as well as an amphitheater for large gatherings. These developments will increase the opportunities for ministry on site, and help to generate income for the association other activities.  cooking, electrical work in the home

The Oasis offers the following:

  • A conference centre with 350 beds, used by many different organizations and groups.
  • Retreat facilities, where individuals and groups can enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
  • A carpentry workshop with advanced tools. A current plan is to make furniture at low cost for young couples preparing for marriage.
  • A vocational training centre.
  • A cattle raising project and dairy produce.
  • Approximately 90 acres of agricultural production, and the sale of some of the products.
  • A food court to sell meals.                                                                                                  
  • Facilities for sports ministry, including playing fields, a rope course and a zip line.
  • Two swimming pools (one for children).
  • Camping facilities.
  • A nursery where plants are grown and sold.
  • A children’s playground
