In 2004 , the shepherd association was granted 100 acres of land approximately 80 km from Cairo, on which it is developing a complex known as the “Oasis”. The site has been developed in terms of new buildings and equipment for vocational training, accommodation facilities, electricity and water supply. The Oasis is now in use for vocational training, conferences and for agriculture. There are further plans to increase agriculture and to build sports and camping facilities, as well as an amphitheater for large gatherings.
