Our Vision

A developed society filled with hope where people enjoy their full human rights

Our mission

We work on empowering the community, especially those who have fewer opportunities to live a life of dignity—economically, socially, health-wise, culturally—and helping them to claim and obtain their human rights, to ensure sustainable community development.

Our Core Values
  • Loyalty
  • Professionalism
  • Integrity, transparency and accountability
  • Equal opportunities
  • Equity and non discrimination
 Target group

Our target group is men, women and children living in deprived rural and urban areas. Some activities are specifically aimed at empowering women and assisting female headed households. Every year hundreds of people benefit from the training activities, thousands of households from the community development programme.

The shepherds is   registered under the ministry of social solidarity.

Hundreds of volunteers are also involved in the work, the big majority serving on local committees that help to plan and implement the development activities. Our Vision That the families benefiting from our  services in Egypt will live self dependant  with a descent prosperous life.
